Consciousness
Consciousness will be explained when its necessity in constructing a mathematically consistent description of the universe, both subjective and objective, will arise out of pure mathematics, as used to model existence as it was, is, will be, and might be, when a construct becomes necessary to bridge the data obtained objectively with the data obtained subjectively.
